FAQs

Q: Is the certificate of insurance required to be submitted with the original proposal or may it be submitted upon notice of award?

A: A certificate of insurance does not need to be submitted with the original proposal though it would be preferred. The COI must be submitted upon notice of the award. No work may begin until an up-to-date COI has been submitted to NDDH.

Q: What is the NDDH’s budget for this project? While this is sometimes viewed as sensitive information, it is public record and of significant interest to the consulting community.

A: There is no budget. We prefer the vendor craft a proposal rather than trying to meet any specific price points.

Q: Is one proposal submitted by email sufficient?

A: An emailed submission of the proposal may be sent as a single PDF file as noted in Section III. C.
