A free training being held this Wednesday night, May 8, from 6 to 7:30pm here at the Northeast District Department of Health, 69 South Main Street, in Brooklyn.
Until Help Arrives teaches the potentially life-saving skills of knowing what to do while waiting for emergency personnel to respond to the scene. You’ll learn five simple steps that may save a life, including:
• Call 9-1-1
• Protect the injured from harm
• Stop bleeding
• Position the injured
• Provide comfort
